Description

The TA Logistics Coordinator position will be accountable for the provision and coordination of all Turnaround, SUS, and Maintenance event logistical and infrastructure support services. Taking responsibility for maximising field productivity, minimising cost, monitoring measuring equipment rentals. A key requirement is to provide an efficient and positive working environment whilst delivering value for money. This role will report to the TA Project Controls SME

Responsibilities May Include:

  • Responsible for the safety of all involved in provision of associated logistics services, crane and mobile plant coordination.

  • Utilises IT tools to monitor field productivity.

  • Generate reports analyse the date to realise cost reductions and increase efficiency

  • Responsible for creating a plan utilising Project control software, execute the logistics productivity plan through P6 scheduling. Evergreening plans and forecasting to the LRP.

  • Responsible for coordinating all items required for a maintenance event that are not directly associated with repairing fixed equipment in the event but are needed to support the people carrying out this activity

  • Responsible along with the Humber Facilities Leader for the supply of turnaround support infrastructure resources for P66 staff and contractors engaged in the execution of Turnaround work so they can work safety, comfortably with no IR issues.

  • Accountable for these costs in the turnaround infrastructure budget.

  • Responsible for maintaining a cost focus and working with the Facilities organisation to understand the whole site requirements and “work for the greater good”

  • Understanding the cost benefit of purchasing or hiring infrastructure and able to recommend the correct option.

  • Responsible for delivering the long term 5-year turnaround and SUS infrastructure plan.

  • Responsible for the management and control of turnaround logistics infrastructure.

  • Ensures accountability for loss and damage to items issued or used by turnaround contractors lies with the end users and manages all items accordingly.

  • Experience in reading and understanding P6 Pre TA-Prep Plans

  • Knowledge of P66 Procurement processes and pre-qualification requirements for onsite service contractors

The Humber Refinery is located on the east coast of England in North Lincolnshire, United Kingdom, approximately 180 miles north of London. Humber's facilities include crude distilling, naphtha reforming, fluid catalytic cracking, hydrodesulfurization, thermal cracking and delayed coking units. The refinery has two coking units with associated calcining plants, which produce high-value graphite and anode petroleum cokes. It processes crude oil supplied primarily from the North Sea and includes light, low- and medium-sulfur and acidic crude oil. Humber produces a high percentage of transportation fuels. It is the only coking refinery in the United Kingdom, and a major producer of specialty graphite cokes and anode coke. Approximately 70 percent of the light oils produced by the refinery are distributed to customers in the United Kingdom by pipeline, rail car and truck, while the other products are exported to the rest of Europe, West Africa and the United States.
