Description

The Coordinator, Scheduling will manage all aspects of raw material (base oil, additive, packaging materials) inventory management (procurement), scheduling of inbound deliveries.

Responsibilities may include :

  • Utilizing SAP to evaluate material (base oils, additives, 3rd party produced SKUs and packaging materials) demand and procure appropriate materials to optimize inventory, meet all production requirements and fulfill all customer requirements on-time and in-full
  • Performing new and change product MOC activities (PASS) including management of facility responsible SAP master data to ensure precise MRP messages that ensures timely and efficient production and raw material management that optimizes facility capabilities and fulfills all customer requirements on-time and in-full
  • Proactively analyzing production and consumption trends and using that data to ensure short and long-range planning is fine-tuned, appropriate adjustments are implemented, and inventories corporate fiduciary responsibilities are met, from purchase/production through sale/consumption
  • Optimizing materials daily as part of the Ongoing Value Optimization (oVo) initiative
  • Performing scheduled physical inventory audits; reconciling differences, and executing transactional activity in conjunction with corporate policies, to ensure accurate reflection of plant inventory
  • Creating requisitions, purchase orders and other procurement activities in compliance with procurement policy and authority limitations
  • Working closely with;
  • Production supervisors and production operators to ensure timely, cost effective, and optimized operations

  • CSC to ensure all aspects of customer order fulfillment is appropriately handled

  • 3rd party and raw material suppliers to ensure all materials are available when needed

  • Committing to and complying with all Lubricants HSEQ policies and procedures

  • Coordinating Supplier Managed Inventory requirements with vendors
  • Coordinating timing of one-off production and material needs (test blends, etc.)
  • Validating and updating responsible procedures and work instructions
  • Being a member of the Core Value Team (HSE, Quality, Incident Command, etc.)
  • Reporting all HSEQ near misses, incidents and supplier issues per procedure
  • Serving as back-up for other schedulers during absences

Qualifications

Basic/Required :

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Demonstrated effective analytic analysis skills

Preferred :

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
  • Advanced skills in SAP, Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint and Business Warehouse
  • 1 or more years of scheduling experience
  • Working knowledge of TS16949 and ISO 14001
  • Highly developed organizational and planning skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Team building and networking skills
  • Advanced planning and organizing skills
  • Customer-orientated and focused, proactive regarding customer service/satisfaction
