The Brand Team promote the UK Marketing business and drive value creation through data-driven brand marketing solutions utilizing consumer and customer segmentation, benchmarking, and internal data from our company-owned retail sites.
The Brand Manager leads the Brand Team for UK Marketing, which encompasses brand development, B2B and B2C marketing activities, PR, internal communication, benchmarking and data analytics, and retail development support for our petrol filling stations.
Responsibilities May Include
Manage, coach and develop team members in line with company performance management expectations.
Control creative and media agencies to ensure strong working relationships to deliver world-class creative output.
Manage the budget for all Brand team related activity, including planning, tracking and reconciliation.
Develop and implement a rolling communications plan, including maintaining strong relationships with trade press, managing our PR agency and adhering to all corporate approvals processes.
Develop meaningful KPIs and report brand tracking and success against KPIs to management.
Act as Information Media Officer for emergency and crisis communications and coordinate media training for all potential UK Marketing spokespersons.
Accountable for the development and implementation of an overall brand strategy for P66 and JET brands in the UK, including elements such as: advertising, site quality standards, sponsorships, any loyalty and promotion schemes, industry and customer hospitality events, and a first-class digital communications platform.
Accountable for developing and maintaining a clear understanding of competitor activity and consumer behavior.
Accountable for the delivery of employee communications on behalf of the Marketing Leadership Team utilizing various media for high impact and engagement.
Have the “consumer” and “brand” eye in every single project and ensure we talk to all audiences in the most effective and efficient way, while ensuring that all the communication stays within the brand equity.
Be a brand ambassador for Phillips 66 and JET, ensuring brand guidelines are always adhered to and living the brand values every day.
