The Planner/Scheduler, TX Gulf Midstream manages the Region Maintenance Schedule and provides planning support to Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations personnel, and champions reliability efforts within the Region to ensure reliable and cost-effective Pipeline and Terminal operations.
This position can be based out of any of the following locations in Texas: Victoria, Hallettsville, La Grange, or Giddings.
Responsibilities May Include:
Coordinating with the I&E, Maintenance, Measurement, and Rotating Equipment Supervisors to ensure the Region Maintenance Schedule is complete, accurate, and up to date.
Utilizing the Region Maintenance Schedule to manage P66 and contract resource allocation and ensure Maintenance personnel time off and overtime are managed effectively.
Utilizing the Region Maintenance Schedule to identify logistical issues and schedule conflicts and ensure all maintenance and project work are completed on time.
Assisting Engineering and Maintenance with estimating, planning, and scheduling maintenance, and project work to minimize the impact to Pipeline and Terminal Operations.
Assisting the I&E, Maintenance, Measurement, and Rotating Equipment Supervisors with effectively managing the Region’s critical equipment inventory and critical spare replacement plan.
Assisting the I&E, Maintenance, Measurement, and Rotating Equipment Supervisors with developing and tracking their assigned budgets.
Coordinating with the Cost Analyst on spend forecasts and accrual.
Collaborating with Engineering Services, other Planner/Schedulers, and applicable industry organizations to identify and implement best practices and new processes and tools in support of equipment reliability, planning, and scheduling.
Ensuring all personnel fully document failures, data, and work in SAP PM.
Coordinating with contractors to assign, schedule, and monitor status of their work.
Ensuring costs are correctly assigned.
Analyzing and reporting cost data and identifying cost reduction opportunities.
Coordinating with the Associate Planners to create job packets in SAP including fit for purpose details of scope and job steps.
Coordinating with the Associate Planners to ensure all material and service requests are provided on time.
Coordinating with the Associate Planners to maintain equipment data in SAP PM.
Evaluating material and service providers to ensure they provide professional quality services.
Completing all required training.
Supporting related inspections, audits, and Emergency Response activities.
Required Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Working knowledge of planning and scheduling practices and tools
Working knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems
Able to read and understand related drawings and technical documents
Working knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance processes
Working knowledge of industry safe work practices and Hazardous area classifications
Intermediate or greater level of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (including Excel, Word, etc.)
Willing and able to travel up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's Degree or higher
7 or more years of experience working in the oil and gas industry
3 or more years of experience working in field maintenance operations troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment used oil and gas operations
Prior supervisor experience (employee or contractor)
Working knowledge of pipeline and terminal equipment
Intermediate or greater level of proficiency using SAP PM or similar Maintenance Management System

Phillips 66's Midstream business is a safe, reliable and trusted logistics provider for the movement and storage of liquid or gas energy via pipelines or terminals. We are an industry leader in logistics and operate or manage more than 22,000 miles of pipelines that transport crude oil from oil fields to refineries and finished products from refineries to storage terminals. We operate 39 terminals that supply finished products to consumer gas stations, as well as crude oil and NGL storage terminals and NGL fractionation facilities. We also provide the connectivity between the various Phillips 66 business units.
