The NGL Scheduling Team Lead reports to the Manager, Midstream Scheduling and Operations and leads a team of schedulers to execute logistics associated with NGL US Supply and Trading activities for the East, West and GC Refineries.

Responsibilities May Include:

  • Lead and supervise a team of schedulers responsible for logistics associated with US Supply and Trading activities for NGL’s.

  • Manage and execute required scheduling responsibilities in support of the business.

  • Optimize work-flow across team to manage changing business needs.

  • Establish goals that challenge and develop scheduling team.

  • Provide continuous coaching and talent enhancement.

  • Manage Inventory around storage requirements and base/discretionary targets.

  • Collaborate with Commercial and BD on logistics maintenance, optimization, and growth opportunities.

  • Provide vacation relief coverage as needed on a 24/7 basis.

  • Foster strong internal and external counterparty relationships in support of operations.

  • Distinguish Phillips 66 as an industry leader in integrity, scheduling excellence, and professionalism.

  • Lead scheduling resources and system operation to maximize general interest value with consideration to profit and operational risk.

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships across Phillips 66 organizations including VCO, Midstream, Refining, and FP&A.

Basic/Required Qualifications:

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 8 or more years of experience in Downstream Operations, Analysis, Business Development and/or Trading

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Supervisory experience

  • 5 or more years of scheduling experience

  • Experience with all modes of Logistics including Truck and Rail

  • Proficient with SAP S4 and analytical/support tools

  • Good understanding of downstream operations, including Refining, and supply chain and value drivers

  • Ability to analyze downstream businesses, markets, assets, and focus on key economic drivers

  • Demonstrated analytical & problem-solving skills to drive value-added, business focused decisions

  • Proven leadership skills with capability of influencing others to achieve desired results and common goals

  • Self-starter showing initiative, thinking outside the box, generating ideas and driving improvements

  • Dedication to achieve team goals, increase general interest value to the company and support internal and external customers

  • Adaptable to changing work environments and make continuous improvements

  • Ability to set, manage and meet multiple and competing priorities are critical skills for this position

Midstream

Phillips 66's Midstream business is a safe, reliable and trusted logistics provider for the movement and storage of liquid or gas energy via pipelines or terminals. We are an industry leader in logistics and operate or manage more than 22,000 miles of pipelines that transport crude oil from oil fields to refineries and finished products from refineries to storage terminals. We operate 39 terminals that supply finished products to consumer gas stations, as well as crude oil and NGL storage terminals and NGL fractionation facilities. We also provide the connectivity between the various Phillips 66 business units.
