As part of the Finished Lubricants Customer Excellence Team, the Account Specialist is responsible for direct customer interface in the order-to-cash process, including product supply and delivery, order entry, pricing, customer issues, product quality, and invoicing. The Account Specialist will work closely with other departments, inside and outside Lubricants, all which impact customer satisfaction and optimization of Lubricants value chain. Working daily with customers to resolve order and invoice inquiries, it will also be important to balance project/process improvement projects with a continuous focus on communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities May Include

  • Developing productive working relationships throughout the value chain.

  • Addressing and resolving customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.

  • Handling difficult conversations with customers regarding order issues and complaints.

  • Coordinating with internal partners to resolve value chain issues, including P66 plants, Product Management, Sales, Transportation, and Finance.

  • Combining a large number of small quantity orders to build truckloads that maximize customer freight value.

  • Ensuring customer satisfaction for products and services provided by P66 Lubricants.

  • Identifying and implementing improved work processes in support of continuous improvement.

Position Requirements


  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 1 or more years of customer service-oriented experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • 1 or more years of experience using SAP SD


  • Proficient in SAP SD

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/issues simultaneously under time constraints

  • Experience identifying problem situations, initiating action and coordinating resolution

  • Advanced level of communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Experience managing multiple priorities/issues simultaneously

  • Ability to manage large amounts of detail and analyze critical factors

  • At least one role or project which focused on large amounts of detail that was critical to solving issues

  • At least one role or project which required an ability to directly or indirectly affect the outcome of a situation that is beyond your immediate sphere of control
