The Analyst works directly with clients to monitor and manage revenue accounts. Ensure that payments are received in a prompt and timely manner. Develop and maintain relations with external clients.

Responsibilities May Include

  • Records transactions into the general ledger or other systems. Ensures transactions are recorded, documented, reviewed and supported in accordance with company policies in a timely manner

  • Responsible for plant allocations, pipeline allocations, system balances, economics, imbalances, accounts receivable aging and account reconciliations

  • Reviews and analyzes the set-up of various contracts (e.g. percentage of profit, processing, keepwhole, treating)

  • Develop and maintain a good rapport with producers and other third parties, as well as internal marketers, gas control personnel, contract administration and measurement

Requirement Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Finance or Accounting

  • Basic understanding of generally accepted accounting principles

  • Aptitude to effectively learn company specific accounting and operations systems

  • Basic analytical skills

  • Customer service oriented with strong written and oral communication skills

  • Flexibility to work longer hours during peak periods

  • Good interpersonal, organizational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of related accounting experience at a professional level

  • 4+ years of experience working with Microsoft Excel and Word at a professional level

  • 3-6 years previous years’ experience with gas plant revenue accounting

  • Previous experience with TIPS, PeopleSoft financials and GMS Ultra applications

The base pay range for this role is $64,800 – $80,000 depending on a candidate's relevant work experience and education.
