Description

The Scheduling Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of schedulers who provide customer support to shippers, suppliers, connected carriers, and operations as well as coordinating pipeline, marine and terminal logistics for all shipments on behalf of Phillips 66 Midstream Operations at the Beaumont Terminal. The Scheduling Supervisor integrates new business onto scheduling desks, facilitates resolution of issues with key stakeholders, shares expertise to the business while assisting in forecasting volumetric changes and providing progress updates internally.

Responsibilities may include :

  • Cultivating and growing strong relationships with shipping customers, suppliers, and connected facilities
  • Managing the ownership of customer relationships
  • Managing the ownership of the scheduling process: assessing, gaining stakeholder support of revisions to, and implementing changes to the scheduling process
  • Ensuring scheduling practices follow system proration policies, tariff rules and regulations, and shipper and stockholder contracts
  • Supervising and mentoring Schedulers on scheduling processes
  • Developing and implementing training plans for new Schedulers
  • Facilitating and own the plan for major pipeline or marine downtime events with operations and customers
  • Integrating new or changing customer business
  • Reporting forecasts for assets, providing inventory forecasts, and supporting monthly metrics gathering
  • Identify, develop and implement additional process improvements of scheduling orders with in operations including a down time management process
  • Leading new business integration onto scheduling desks
  • Ensuring FERC compliant communication by all team members
  • Assisting business development analyze and assess new business opportunities
  • Facilitating resolution to product quality issues to contain costs for customers and Midstream
  • Developing vacation and relief schedules
  • Cross-training to provide desk relief where needed
  • Submitting weekly reports of key milestones, issues, customer service opportunities, and downtime events to the business

Qualifications

Basic/Required :

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
  • 3 or more years of experience working to resolve customer challenges
  • 5 or more years of scheduling experience
  • 5 or more years of experience as a supervisor leading a team
  • 5 or more years of experience working in Midstream Pipeline or Terminal Operations or Commercial
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, volumetric accounting systems, and/or pipeline scheduling applications
  • Willingness and ability to perform and comply with following, with or without reasonable accommodations:
  • To provide relief and back-up to Schedulers

  • To work off-schedule hours as needed

Preferred :

  • Associates Degree or higher
  • 5 or more years of experience working to resolve customer challenges
  • 7 or more years of scheduling experience
  • 7 or more years of experience as a supervisor leading a team
  • 3 or more years of experience in Marine Operations
  • Working knowledge of project integration experience into business systems, including procedure writing
  • Working knowledge of standard hydraulics and line conditions, maintenance activities
  • Working knowledge of Midstream equipment and facilities
  • Working knowledge of product and crude characteristics
  • Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, volume accounting systems, and/or pipeline scheduling applications
