Description
The Real Estate (Mapping) Analyst is primarily responsible for mapping and spatial data support through the use of ESRI ArcGIS software for various real estate transactions, asset growth projects, and crisis management activity. The data will be provided to Real Estate Services, Midstream, Refining, and Emergency Response teams across the country needed to effectively complete their projects.
Responsibilities May Include
Mapping support including file base map development, legal description review, property boundary review, and surface ownership acquisition
Right of way and real estate document analysis covering pipeline systems, refineries, terminals, pump stations and other related assets
Coordinate with outside contractor teams assisting with right of way acquisition and pipeline construction Document gap analysis and title review
Manage and support various asset real estate and right of way acquisition/disposition projects
Third party survey and plat review Crisis Management team support
Knowledge sharing through mentoring and training activity with other team members and business partners Providing custom database queries and reports upon request, in a timely and accurate manner
Providing database administrative support including data entry and quality control Researching and resolving customer inquiries/requests for information
Prioritizing work schedule to accommodate customer requirements and demands
Utilizing internal networking contacts to minimize data gathering process and duplication of effort Ensuring continuous improvement by recommending potential improvements to departmental policies and procedures
Position Requirements
Basic/Required:
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
High school diploma or GED equivalent
3 or more years of GIS and Mapping experience
Preferred:
Customer focused, business driven, and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong networks
Knowledge and experience with real property legal documents and legal descriptions
Project management experience
Strong verbal/written communication and leadership skills Ability to multi-task in a team environment
Superior analytical skills and a strong understanding of ArcGIS and ESRI tools and applications
Effective planning and organizational skills including the ability to work independently, prioritize activities, meet commitments, and proactively manage time with minimal supervision
Self-directed and self-motivated to solve problems quickly and creatively
Bachelor’s Degree in GIS, Engineering, IT, Geography or Business Administration
Description
Include all employees, with or without college degrees, responsible for planning, supervising, or coordinating supportive services of an organization, such as facility maintenance, recordkeeping, mail distribution, telephone operator/receptionist, and other office support services. May oversee facility planning and maintenance/custodial operations as well as monitoring the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained. Responsibilities may Include recommending, planning, and executing site space-plan changes.
