Description

  • The Contracts & Customer Service (C&CS) Help Desk Agent is a 24/7 customer support center that provides services to multiple areas of Phillips 66 Marketing operations. Primary areas of support include:

o Broadband Network connectivity for 8,000 branded locations

o Customer Supply Management

o Credit Card Accounting

o BizLink and LubeStream customer portals

  • The C&CS Help Desk provides top-tier customer support that is aligned with Phillips 66’s Wholesale Marketing goals and objectives. Agents of the Help Desk are responsible for providing basic and complex technical and operational support.

  • The basic role of the Help Desk is to troubleshoot and resolve a variety of customer-based issues involving:

o Credit card processing

o Broadband connectivity

o Customer supply allocation and terminal loading issues

o Web-based application troubleshooting

o Credit card accounting-based inquiries

  • In addition, Help Desk agents are ambassadors to the Phillips 66 family of brands, and must continually demonstrate professional, prompt and courteous service to our customers in all situations.

  • The C&CS Help Desk is a 24/7 operation, as such all Help Desk Agents must also be able to support any schedule associated with our operation including: Early Morning, Evening, Nights, Overnight, Weekends, and Holidays.

Responsibilities May Include

  • Responding to customer inquiries over the phone, through online applications and via email. Troubleshooting and resolving basic and complex technical issues involving broadband network connectivity.

  • Simultaneously managing multiple customer inquiries in a fast-paced multi-task environment.

  • Effectively collaborating with business partners and vendors to develop solutions to technical and operational issues.

  • Serving as an extension of the Customer Supply Management team by facilitating customer supply requests and by resolving terminal loading issues.

  • Maintaining technical proficiency in all assigned duties, systems, applications and platforms.

  • At minimum, meet all established job performance targets that include:

o Customer service

o Productivity

o Processes

o Quality standards

Position Requirements

Basic/Required:

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Willing and available to work any shift associated with a 24/7 schedule

  • Ability to consistently demonstrate professional and courteous customer service

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively and clearly communicate verbally and in writing

  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Work within and positively contribute to a team-based operation

  • Basic understanding of online applications and ability to use web-based tools

Preferred:

  • Associate’s degree IT Technical certifications

  • Basic understanding of Mid-Stream and Down-Stream Petroleum Marketing and operations

  • Basic knowledge of payment card processing systems and EPOS network interface

  • Basic knowledge and ability to support broadband network platforms including: VSAT, 4G, Terrestrial, associate hardware, software and firmware

  • Excellent interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills

  • Ability to meet expected performance levels with minimal supervision

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve basic and complex technical and operational issues

  • Strategic thinking skills – ability to assess processes and recommend improvements

  • Results oriented – demonstrate an urgency to achieve objectives

  • Ability and willingness to constructively share knowledge and develop others
