The Director of Mobile Pay Business Development is accountable to drive our Branded Apps mobile payment acceptance and adoption through collaboration with US Sales, PSE, BRAND, and IT. This role will be responsible for gaining key stakeholder buy-in both internally and externally. This position is responsible for supporting process optimizations through various mobile payment working groups. This customer facing role will engage customers on the future capabilities of the apps as well as institute best practice sharing at the operational level. This position can be located in either Houston, TX or Bartlesville, OK.
Responsibilities May Include
Leading sales campaigns for digital value proposition where it can support new business acquisition.
Presenting mobile updates at Key Account QBRs, regional sales meetings or national customer councils.
Formulating and developing targets and mobile transaction growth plans.
Educating/Training various levels from Marketer Principles down to Cashier on mobile payment functionality, enhancements and best practices.
Directional support to Custom Assistance Team (CAT) with for new mobile pay site enablement.
Collaborating with BRAND on grass roots mobile marketing efforts, participating in consumer events.
Staying abreast on innovation landscape changes, new capabilities, maintaining competitive awareness in the mobile pay space.
Public speaking and presentations to audiences of varied size.
Representing field concerns and opportunities to the mobile project team.
UX/UI feedback based on B2C and B2B external engagements.
Allocating advertising resources to advance mobile pay consumer awareness and drive trial.
High level analytical assessments of trends arising by wallet type, transaction counts, regional differences.
A branded mobile pay app ambassador amongst Phillips 66 employees.
Advising on sales collateral and communications for in the mobile payment app space
Influencing mobile operational excellence through collaboration with the mobile ops team and various C&CS team leads .
Driving creative customer led field pilots that increase transactions and awareness.
Supporting Business Development through presentation contributions to help close deals .
Management of continued mobile roll out enablement of mobile capable sites.
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
Willingness to travel 50% of the time
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Information Technology, MIS or related field
5 or more years in downstream oil and gas industry
App or mobile payment experience
Sales and relationship-building experience
Experience working with Marketers
Strong leadership, teamwork and interpersonal skills
Strategic thinker, results-oriented to achieve target goals
Excellent communication skills, verbal and writing, for effective communications across the organization with managers and key stakeholders
Ability to network effectively with internal and external customers (customer focused) building trust, cooperation and long-lasting relationships
Self-motivated and able to work independently
