Description

The Field Integrity Engineer serves as a technical integrity resource for field personnel and provides coordination and guidance on integrity related activities.

Responsibilities May Include

  • Communicating with key stakeholders including field operations and maintenance personnel as well as company management.

  • Selecting appropriate ILI (In Line Inspection) methods and coordinating schedule of tool run.

  • Coordinating kick-off meetings for assessment and repair programs.

  • Reviewing ILI remediation worklist and transmittals.

  • Calculating in-the-ditch remaining pipeline strength using B31G, log-secant, etc.

  • Selecting appropriate NDE methods and make pipeline anomaly repair determination.

  • Reviewing and approving maintenance reports after repair.

  • Providing feedback and participate in vendor KPI meetings.

  • Interpreting policy, code, and regulation (CFR Title 49 parts 192 & 195).

  • Monthly forecasting of pipeline assessment and repair costs.

  • Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement through updates to standards, policies and procedures.

  • Planning Hydrotest objectives and calling hydrostatic pressure tests.

  • Serving as a technical resource and providing consulting on fundamental pipeline engineering concepts.

  • Preparing budgets and long-range plans.

  • Identifying and scoping Integrity-related projects within region.

  • Representing the company’s integrity program during audits.

Position Requirements

Basic/Required:

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or higher

  • 1 or more years of experience in pipeline engineering

  • 1 or more years of project coordination experience

  • Able to travel up to 25% of the time

  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Metallurgical, or Civil Engineering

  • 3 or more years of experience in pipeline integrity engineering

  • 3 or more years of project coordination experience

  • PMI certification
