The Field Integrity Engineer serves as a technical integrity resource for field personnel and provides coordination and guidance on integrity related activities.
Responsibilities May Include
Communicating with key stakeholders including field operations and maintenance personnel as well as company management.
Selecting appropriate ILI (In Line Inspection) methods and coordinating schedule of tool run.
Coordinating kick-off meetings for assessment and repair programs.
Reviewing ILI remediation worklist and transmittals.
Calculating in-the-ditch remaining pipeline strength using B31G, log-secant, etc.
Selecting appropriate NDE methods and make pipeline anomaly repair determination.
Reviewing and approving maintenance reports after repair.
Providing feedback and participate in vendor KPI meetings.
Interpreting policy, code, and regulation (CFR Title 49 parts 192 & 195).
Monthly forecasting of pipeline assessment and repair costs.
Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement through updates to standards, policies and procedures.
Planning Hydrotest objectives and calling hydrostatic pressure tests.
Serving as a technical resource and providing consulting on fundamental pipeline engineering concepts.
Preparing budgets and long-range plans.
Identifying and scoping Integrity-related projects within region.
Representing the company’s integrity program during audits.
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or higher
1 or more years of experience in pipeline engineering
1 or more years of project coordination experience
Able to travel up to 25% of the time
Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Metallurgical, or Civil Engineering
3 or more years of experience in pipeline integrity engineering
3 or more years of project coordination experience
