Phillips 66 Desktop Support Analyst- 12 month contract in London, United Kingdom

Supporting 150 users in a fast paced environment. The main responsibilities of the Desktop Support Analyst role include:-

  • Providing second line support and problem resolution for desktop and laptop computers, printers plus other peripheral hardware and software applications
  • Supporting twenty Traders and their specific pricing applications including Thomson Reuters Eikon and Morningstar
  • Supporting the Trader’s Dealer Board turrets, including working with the vendor for the provision of additional broker lines, when requested
  • Supporting applications and services within agreed Service Level Agreement requirements and priorities, and in accordance with Phillips 66 standards and security guidelines
  • Incorporating new software, software upgrades and in-house developed software into the London technical environment as required
  • Maintaining PC asset inventory data
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation

Other Typical Responsibilities:

  • Obtaining quotations
  • Assisting Applications Analyst with software testing
  • Housekeeping audits
  • Safety observations


Basic/Required :

  • Minimum of three years in a similar position
  • Legally authorized right to work in the UK on a regular, full-time basis without restrictions
  • Knowledge of Support Call Ticket Management Systems such as Remedy or ServiceNow
  • Excellent Technical skills in Windows 7, MS Office Suite 2010 and Citrix
  • Clear and consistent internal/external communicator
  • Needs to be self-motivated, punctual, and will be required to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve desktop related issues
  • Ability to plan and organise and be flexible to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must be aware of Customer needs/focus and have good Customer Service Skills
  • Must be able to focus on commitments and get results
  • Experience in a trading environment desirable but not critical
